Bio| YAMI NO BAKURA  Fandom: Yuugioh! Age: 3000 (appears to be 17) Point in Canon: Battle City Physical Description of Character: Yami Bakura takes his physical form after his Hikari Ryou. He has pale skin (almost mistaken for an albino at times.) His white hair spikes out more than Ryou's tame hair. He's often times told by Ryou that he has little bat wings protruding from his head. His brown eyes can be misleading as he's fooled many of Ryou's friends into making them believe that he was Ryou. He gets his thin frame from Ryou. Personality: Bakura views mortals as toys that can be played with and tossed away once broken. He's arogant, superior, greedy, sadistic, cruel, a strategic master planner, merciless, vengeful, and psychotic. When he was younger, he witnessed his parents being sacrificed in order to make the Sennen Items. Because of this he harbors deep hatred for Yami no Yuugi. He swore to avenge his village and headed off to the palace, with the idea of later stealing all of the Sennen Items. Bakura is an excellent actor. Having fooled Yugi and his crew multiple times by making them all believe that he was Ryou. Bakura acts purely on self interest and self interest alone. He only lends out his help when it benefits himself and only himself. He has no regard of his Hikari and can take control of Ryou's body whenever he wants. He's not afraid to gamble with his Hikari's life either. As seen when he offers Ryou up to Malik to break apart Yuugi's crew. However during his duel against Yami no Yuugi, Bakura pulls out, not liking Malik's methods, and takes over and takes the blow for Ryou. Claiming that in order for him to obtain the power of darkness, he needs his Hikari alive. Bakura's playing skill is very high. Throughout the series he is only showed playing four games, and winning one. But his level of playing is incredibly well. He duels with an occult deck (whether this is due to Ryou's love for the occult or Bakura's history is still unknown.) Oh, and he likes to eat steak. History: When he was younger, he witnessed his village being slaughtered in order to make the Sennen Items. He developed a deep rooted hatred for Yami and his family. (Mostly his father, since his father was in rule at the time.) Trying to exact his revenge: he became a thief (a tomb robber to be exact), robbed a whole lot of tombs (one tomb being Yami's father's, in which he dragged the body up to the palace.) Up to that point the rest is a blur for Bakura. He spent most of his time sleeping inside the Sennen Ring until he was awoken when Ryou Bakura put the ring on. He then took on Ryou's figure (changed a few minor details, like his hair for one) and started to control Ryou in spurts. Before Ryou transfered over to Domino High, Bakura had most of Ryou's friends hospitalized after turning them into little figurines for his "Monster World" game. After Ryou transfered to Domino, Bakura put a stop to his evil plans after meeting Yugi Motou and his friends. It was then that he acted upon the revenge that was never really exacted in the past. He then allowed Ryou to bring over his new found friends to play a little game. After sucking Yugi and his friends' souls into the little figurines they had chosen, Bakura made a move to grab the Sennen Puzzle, but was stopped by Yami. He then entered in a duel of all duels with Yami (a game of dice, not cards). After a few control of the dice, cheating here and there, Bakura lost to Yami. It was a combination of Ryou trying to regain his body back and Yami finding Bakura's cheat. Bakura then disappeared back into the ring for a while and waited it out. A few months later, Maximilian J. Pegasus hosted his Duelist Kingdom tournament. Bakura then forced Ryou into sneaking in on the boat. Bakura hid low until Anzu freaked out about a "creeper in the bushes." So, he joined them for dinner around the campfire. He then questioned the gang what cards they saw themselves as. He then offered to duel Yugi (huh, this seems familiar) using the deck his and his friends had put together. Sucking the gang back into the cards, Bakura then made another move to steal the Sennen Puzzle. He was thwarted again. Dueling Yami for the second time, he lost, again, thanks to a creampuff Ryou. He then lurked back into the ring, allowing Ryou to take over once more, and to follow Yugi and his gang around just like the side character he is. Once Yugi and Jounouchi got the star chips they needed and entered the castle, Bakura took over yet again. Bakura then went off to do whatever he pleased. He kidnapped Mokuba's soulless body (to use as a new host) but was thwarted by Honda. Honda then chucked the ring out into the forest thinking that it would rid Ryou of Bakura. He thought wrong. After Yami (and Yugi) won his duel against Pegasus, Bakura took over once more. Instead of joining the gang for a happy celebration, he stalked his way up to Pegasus' room and engaged in a He then stayed somewhat dormant until Kaiba started up with his Battle City tournament. He came to the "rescue" after Yugi fought against a cloaked man (also known as Bandit Keith) he then inserted some of his soul into the Sennen Puzzle and then left Yugi. After that he ran into Marik. The two then plotted to team up to overthrow Yami. They made a pact and Bakura stabbed his arm to show his loyalty. Needing all of the locater cards Bakura stole a duel disk as well as one locater card, he then engaged in a duel with Bonz. After an easy win (and sending Bonz to the Shadow Realm) Bakura won his way into the Battle City Tournament and stole all of Bonz's locator cards. After a "sweet" reunion with all of Ryou's friends Bakura pretended to act as Ryou (and finally had himself some steak) throughout the dinner party. He had most of them fooled until his battle against Yami. Dueling with his occultist deck, and one epic woosh of the wind, Yami finally then realized that it was in fact Bakura (the "spirit of the Sennen Ring") rather then Ryou. Magical Powers/Skills: He's also a very gifted actor. And has persuaded many in his time. Weapons: Card decks Again, don't piss him off or he'll find a way to exact his revenge. He does use knives, but he currently does not have it on his person.
